Aerospace is undergoing a fundamental shift—from long, centralized development cycles to faster, more distributed approaches to design and production. As systems become more autonomous and applications more dynamic, the ability to rapidly adapt hardware is becoming a critical capability.

This talk explores how additive manufacturing—specifically SLA and SLS 3D printing—is enabling aerospace teams to move from concept to functional parts in hours rather than weeks. Beginning with a brief introduction to Formlabs and its approach to accessible, high-performance manufacturing, we examine how organizations across the aerospace and UAV sector are accelerating development through in-house production.
