Malte Höltken

Malte Höltken is CEO of Aufwind GmbH, an aviation engineering consultancy based in Flensburg, Germany, with a hangar facility at Padborg Airfield (EKPB) in Denmark. Aufwind's work centres on seaplane hydrodynamics, certification and flight test engineering, EASA regulatory compliance, and sustainable aviation. Malte holds a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, where his thesis produced the analytical methods for seaplane hull design and porpoising stability prediction that now underpin the firm's SILAS analysis framework. He is an EASA Part-66 licensed engineer, a flight instructor with seaplane rating, and represents IAOPA Europe on the EASA Stakeholder Advisory Body.
