Mattia Padulo

After completing his PhD at Cranfield University (United Kingdom), Mattia Padulo worked as a researcher at Cranfield and at NASA (Glenn Research Center) in the field of aircraft design. He joined Airbus in 2011, where he worked in particular on aircraft performance before contributing to the Group’s digital transformation program, notably as head of the innovation team. He joined AURA AERO in 2021 as Chief Technical Officer to develop the Experimental Design Office, which brings together preliminary design and advanced systems, and which was notably responsible for the design of the INTEGRAL E propulsion system and the ERA preliminary design. Since 2023, Mattia Padulo has also served as Chief Engineer of the ERA Program.
